On May 28, 2009, we participated in the Rensselaer Alumni Career Networking Evening at the RPI Hartford campus to help alums and current students hone their networking skills.

Event Summary

With attendees from various backgrounds, this was a great night. This program provided participants with networking techniques and experiences, and the opportunity to practice their communication skills. Science Careers provided information to attendees and answered questions related to the job market. Participants had questions related to a variety of concerns including finding your first job, applying to graduate and medical school, transitioning between career fields, and looking for employment during tough times.
